The 13th Rangeley Lakes Loppet, will be held Saturday, March
6, 2010.
A 25k and 50k course length is available. An
immaculately groomed 25km loop features wide trails with both skating
lane and tracks set for classical technique. Our "Outer Limits"
course is at the base of beautiful, peaceful Saddleback Mountain in the
scenic Western Mountains and Lakes region of Maine. Spectacular views of
nearby mountain ridges and lakes reinforce the feeling that you're really
skiing the “Outer Limits”. Several
refreshment stations along the course offer soups, fruit,
cookies and beverages to help you along the way. Great feed
afterwards, awards and prize table. Bring the family for a weekend of winter fun!
This year we will again have, a separate start 25k Classic division,
the Burt Kettle Classic. Both the Classic and the Skate
participants will ski the same loop, but the Classic racers will start
one hour before the Skate racers division,
