Maine's Premier Cross Country Ski Trails & Resort!

The Rangeley Lakes Cross Country Ski Trails are located in the heart of the scenic western mountains and lakes region of Maine. The area has the best snow conditions in the East, with an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. The snow conditions plus fantastic terrain make skiing here a wonderful experience for any skier from novice to expert.

In the summer of 2005 we moved our ski center from the Loon Lake Road location to Saddleback Mountain. The 35 kilometer system of loop trails will be immaculately groomed by Pisten Bully groomer to a minimum of 14 feet wide with a skating lane and classic tracks on all trails. 

A 735' square foot (30' diameter) yurt from The Pacific Yurt Company is currently serving as our ski lodge until a permanent lodge is constructed. It is located in Rangeley just 2.5 miles off Dallas Hill Road on Saddleback Mountain Road. Ski rentals, wax, waxing benches, and clothing items are available in our lodge. And let us tempt you with hot chocolate, coffee, soda, bagels, cookies, or other delicacies on your return from the trails. Lodging availability ranges from fine hotels or bed and breakfast accommodations to motels and private luxury winter homes and condos, or quaint cabins.
