Season Training Camp
Dec 4-7, 2008
Guaranteed Snow!!
Come ski train with us and set yourself up for a fantastic
season! Masters skiers and beginners will be our primary focus.
Anyone who aspires to improve his or her skiing and feels they
could benefit from qualified coaching should take advantage of
this camp.
Our coaching staff includes college coaches, coaches with
national and international experience, and elite caliber skiers
with years of coaching experience. You will receive precise
individual attention designed to improve overall technique. The
staff will pay particular attention to strengthening your body
position, weight transfer, and general technique on all terrain.
Over 4 days, each skier will
have 6 coached sessions of 2 to 3 hours on snow, 2 video reviews
in evening sessions, and time each day for a free ski. Masters
will train in groups of 6 to 9skiers, and always be under the
watchful eye of an experienced coach. Each skier will be video
taped 2 times during the camp.
Beginners will be in groups of 6 to 7 skiers and will receive
concentrated instruction on the basics of ski technique. The
objective is to make our beginner class comfortable navigating
easy and intermediate trails. Each skier will receive video tape
sessions. By camp’s end, our beginner class skier can look
forward to a confident and progressive season, and perhaps be
ready for the Touring Class at the Rangeley Lakes Loppet the
first Saturday of March!
This
year the meals and lodging are at Saddleback Mountain.
Depending on where the snow is you will have ski out or at most
a 3 minute drive to the Yurt! The price of the camp includes
lodging Thursday through Saturday nights. It includes dinner on
Thursday, three meals on Friday & Saturday, and breakfast on
Sunday. If you have your own lodging we can accommodate you at
the lower price. The camp starts with an afternoon session of
coaching on Thursday, morning and afternoon sessions on Friday
and Saturday, and a morning session on Sunday, lodging, all
meals beginning with Thursday dinner and ending with Sunday
breakfast, coaching at all on snow sessions, 2 video sessions
after dinner, trail passes, and unlimited access to the RLTC
Yurt Lodge, and Saddleback Alpine Lodge.

make snow, and the trails have inadequate coverage, we will
refund the cost of the camp less a $20 handling and deposit fee.
It is rare that we do not have many trails with good coverage by
12/4. If you must cancel, we will make a full refund until
Thursday, November 27t
h less $20 If
you cancel between November 27th and
December 3th,
we will refund 50% of the cost. If you cancel on December 3th or
later, we will make no refund
